Making the Script

Yesterday we wrote the script using Skype as it is a few days before filming, we spent roughly one/two hours making and tweaking it. I soon discovered how long this process takes as it constantly evolves and can change quickly. We wanted to tell the audience of some kind of past friendship/argument in the least number of words possible. We didn't want to make it too theatrical, we wanted to make it intriguing, sinister and interesting:

I wanted to give the depot worker (names of characters not finalised) a stutter. I hope this creates sympathy towards this 'vulnerable' character, which is what we want. By saying "aren't you going to give your old friend a hug" I hope this indicates that the two characters had a friendship but something happened to separate them - a life changing argument. This script is flexible and can be changed on the evening we film depending on how it sounds.
