Identify possible hazards

1) Moving buses - may harm people and/or equipment

2) Plastic bag may actually suffocate the actor as he is pretending to be suffocated

3) Extension Cable on the ground, people could trip.

4) If it rains, the wet wires may cause some kind of risk regarding electric shocks etc.

5) When filming in the old bus actors and cameramen may trip over objects stored on the bus. 

Who might be harmed

Actors, cameramen, and crew could be harmed by these possible hazards on the night.

How to prevent these accidents from occurring when we film

1) To prevent anyone being in the path of a moving bus, we must all wear flourescent jackets to make us visible and easy to spot when dark. This ensures that the driver of a bus can clearly see someone is there and to stop/not hit them. To prevent any equipment being knocked over/hit by a bus we will place all equipment in the corner of the depot where no buses will go near. Each time we need some kind of equipment we will simply bring it over to where we wish to film. When it is no longer needed, it will be placed back in the corner of the depot.


2) To prevent Elliott actually being suffocated I will make many holes in the clear plastic bag so he is able to breathe. There is no longer any change of him suffocating for real - instead he can just focus on the acting.


3) To prevent people tripping over the 50 metre cable we will inform each other of where it is at all time. People will bring torches so they can clearly see where the cable is to stop them tripping over it.


4) If it rains, we will have to reschedule the filming for anther day as it is a safety hazard. Also we do not want it to rain as we feel it may ruin the atmosphere of a spooky depot.


5) To prevent anyone falling over things stored on the old bus, we will move them to outside while filming then we will return them to their original place once we have finished filming.
