Storyboarding - Brainstorming and Initial ideas

After we had decided the narrative of the film and got a feel of the depot location we started to make our storyboard in class with the printed out pictures. This allowed us to draw on them, write next to them, cut them out and rearrange them. It gave us the freedom to experiment with all the different shots we could possible do :

We discussed shot types, length of shots and the use of dialogue.

We numbered shots in the order in which we intended to film and show them.

We drew out a birds-eye view of the depot so we could show and explain to each other what we wanted to shoot on the day of filming.
